Since we’ll get to know your backstory, it feels only right that you know ours!
We are both members of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2016 (WHOOP!), but we didn't meet until a mutual friend set us up in 2019. Within a year of meeting, we were engaged and then we got married 5 months later in July of 2020. We actually got married on Ally’s birthday because we love to celebrate BIG! And we got double the cake. WIN-WIN!
To both of us, getting married meant gaining a partner in more than just life. We became partners in business. (The ‘Joe’ in Ally Joe Photography is Daniel’s middle name!)

For us, marriage is so much more important and long-lasting than a party.
Although the party is so fun, we love weddings for the beauty of their inherent commitment. We’re committed for life, and there’s nothing we love more than cheering on another lifelong marriage. As wedding photographers, we are always honored to witness the moment when our couples make this meaningful commitment to one another.
We believe the covenant of marriage is one of the most beautiful representations of God’s love, a love that is sacrificial, unconditional, selfless, and kind, so we get pretty excited about it….every single time.

Oh, and when we’re not serving as a natural light photographer for smitten couples and fun-loving seniors?
We are likely shaking cocktails, hosting friends (we love to cook!), serving at church (Daniel is on the worship team, Ally leads a women’s bible study), searching the internet for our next boutique hotel or Airbnb adventure, or we are dreaming up our next house project!
